Well, as a few of you may know.. a month or so ago I created an online game called Football Kingdom Manager. A football manager game which was pretty basic, but was looking to be okay. I'm going to fix together tons of graphics and make the game make a return in the next day or so. It should run a lot smoother. I'm gonna' need ten teams for each league. You'll be able to read up on how to play when I have the site together. What I need to know now is that who here would like to sign up a team when it opens? _________________ Rolls: (3d6)
Well the only difference is that I'll be trying to make a more original game. So I hate to say it.. but, you'll have to change the name of Reading United II. _________________ Rolls: (3d6)
The rule will be that you won't be able to use symbols or numbers in your Team Names and Stadium Names. You can use real team names, but it would be more fun if they weren't real teams (Reading, Liverpool etc.) or even smaller teams like Aldershot Town and Salisbury City.
I don't mind if you do use real-life teams, but please try not to.
The main thing I don't want to see is "cz_45_cupcakes united" as a team. Haha. _________________ Rolls: (3d6)
I would like it if you guys could give me ideas on what you want to have on the game. I'll be making it on Freewebs, but I know a few tricks on there. I don't know too much HTML, so you most probably won't be able to login to an account like other Football Manager games. But don't worry - it'll still be pretty easy to use (and faster for me to make updates, Steve - unlike the last game). You'll have to sign up and have a password etc. As if you were using a login system. But instead you'll just have to fill out small forms to purchase things, and then write your Team Name and Password in it too. (Pretty simple)
So all I need from you guys is some ideas. To start you off maybe, how about.. Transfers, Appealing Red Cards, How match outcomes and stats are determined etc.
you could have a rating on how good a team is
like say you start off on 500 and a win gets you 10 points a draw 5 and a loss -10 you can change it to be appropiate . this will show how good the teams are

Transfers... well there could be a sort of negitation system, with players contacting each other on values, and then when they have both agreed, it could be confirmed? _________________ The 4 aces is back!

Oh and course, there'd still be unattached players like in th4aces, but the ones you bought from other teams would generally been better. _________________ The 4 aces is back!
Yeah. The4aces was my favourite online manager game of all-time (when it started, and there is a lot of other good games out there), so I'll be trying to make it similar to it. I could even include a Dream Team. Each team will have a Profile page, and it'll have stats, news, press releases etc.
I really need your ideas. _________________ Rolls: (3d6)
so stick with my rating system aswell as having a normal league but the rating system will benefit in freindly matches. and for the transfers you could have it like an auction type of thing . so you see what players are up for transfer so you no the manager is ready to sell them then other managers put in bids and the manager of the player picks which offer is the best ? and then for players that arent on the market you can bid for them but will probably be turned down by the manger. and you could have disowned players on the market that have been realeased so all you have to do is pay there income and no signing on fee.and you can buy youngsters that are coming through so basically 1st come 1st serve lol
Well if you remember The 4 Aces had a "Scout" page, with brand new youth players. There was the Player Market, with sold players. And there was a World Class part, but that was the Transfer Market just with better players. If I were to use a WC part - then the players wouldn't be from people's teams. They'd be made up and you'd be able to buy them.
Still need ideas. UB? Anyone else? _________________ Rolls: (3d6)

Perhaps you could include training, where you and your coaches try and improve an aspect of your team. You could do it once per day, which would mean that rather than just letting them improve, like on the4aces, you had to be dedicated.
