Blue Square PremierDoes anyone here keep tuned in to the Conference? I do because my local side Salisbury are in there - and are not doing to bad for their rookie year. They got a draw out of Torquay United (second place) yesterday. And they're unbeaten in all of 2008!

A little, but not a huge amount. Mostly just hoping Oxford get relagated. As I understant it York and Torquay are the big teams.

Oh, and I wouldn't call it the Blue Square, that's like calling the premiership "Barclays" (or wose, the EPL!) or Arsenal "Emirates" or Reading "Kyocera" or Everton "Chang"- you get where I'm coming from?

It's actually called the Blue Square Premier. It's not called the Conference as much. I'm not just gonna' call it Premier. And York aren't all that big this season. They're in the bottom half and were thumped by Salisbury 3-1. Torquay are 2nd, Aldershot are top. Exeter, Cambridge, Forest Green and a few others are near the top.

I know there's a mixture of proffessional and semi pro teams in the conference. basically, the ones which have been in Lague 2 recently will be pro, those which have just got promoted will be semi, and the ones that have been there for a long time will be mostly pro.

Well that would make them semi-pro then.
They got promoted from the Ryman two years ago. The Conference South last year, and are 10th in the Conference this season. Not bad really.
