I own http://www.the4aces.co.uk domainI saw that the domain name http://www.the4aces.co.uk had expired so I could get it for the normal price that it costs to register a domain name.http://www.the4aces.com is still owned though so I haven't got that. As soon as I saw it was available (no one else owned it) I simply had to register it before anyone else decided to. It is currently set up to redirect people to my youtube page, i would set it up for use on this forum but as The4aces will be getting a new name soon it would be pointless. Anyway, I think it came to about £5.90 to register it for 2 years, Its mine, all mine...  (not sure what i'll use it for in the long run though.)

Simply using redirect for url of a forum could cause problems with logging into the forum etc. For a forum you really should set the DNS (domain name servers.) Not really worth the trouble as I will be getting a domain for the forum once the new game is released.
(Although currently it is set to mask the url of my youtube page (makes http://www.the4aces.co.uk stay in the address bar) If I turn masking off it will redirect people straight to the forum and shouldn't cause any problems.) I will sett it to goto the forum now. |

Dont worry about the link not working, i registered it with telivo, but they suck and only offer me 5 email address forwardings so I transferred it to the host 123-reg whch is much better, it takes time for the transfer to complete but is now done so I will be setting up the redirect again now. | ||||

There were thousands of players, some might have not signed in for a few months and decided to have a check. It's bound to happen from time to time. Or if people aren't sure why they can't get on The 4 Aces website so they try it every once in a while. | ||||

Should be sorted soon, because of transferring it from one provider to another I had to change the domain name servers, should be up within a day or two and sending people to the forum.
also like my new email the4acesforum@the4aces.co.uk yey.

Nope  I dont actually log in anywhere using that, its just to show off, It forwards any email that is sent to it to my hotmail address.

Not pointless no, you can set it up to forward to more than one email address, also it makes it look more proffessional. |
