OK, I have to admit I made up DJ MOD, I thought it may have helped keep the forum in control, and i guess it worked a bit. But now I and thinking about hiring a real mod as I haven't been on as much recently because of my college work.

I have a lot of things to look at before I ask the person chosen if they would like to be mod, don't ask to be mod, I will be making the decision by my self, asking will lower your chances.

DJ MOD was fabricated? haha I totally bought that (although I did wonder why he didn't use the forum). I think I even tried to encourage "him" to post on the forum but alas it was just U1bd. Anyway good luck finding a new mod, It might be a good idea to pick someone who exists this time

im not sure exactly, I will post the shortlist this saturday (about 3-5 people who it will be from)
and the final decision will probably be the saturday after.

This will give the people on the shortlist time to make a post about why they would be best for the job, or if they dont want to be moderator they can say so, anyone on the shortlist who doesn't post by the day I make the announcment will not be made mod.
I will then look at the posts by the people on the shortlist and make my final decision.

Ill be starting a new topic on saturday explaining more, and Ill be locking this topic then.

you will almost definately be on the shortlist, and the same goes for Nadji and hottntott.

Ub, have you considered asking each of us to moderate a board or 2 each only?

Not quite that, but I was thinking bout maybe hiring 2 mods, i may do your idea though, but still maximum of two new mods (have several boards each).

Also hottntott wont be on the shortlist, he was the first choice but he turned it down when I offered it to him, I still have full confidence in whoever I choose though as I think everyone would do a great job.
