munaaf

it doesnt make sense to say it is a quadratic equation, we need values, or letters, not just numbers
imBatman

You can't have a quadratic equation without the equation. All forms of algebra whether simple algebra or the conversion of a quadratic polynomial needs an equation with at least 1 value.

Solving for x then gives

This equation is known as the quadratic formula.

Hope this helps everyone out.
