Ive never played on any of them but personally I'd choose Xbox 360 because the graphics of some of the games ive seen advertised for it look unbelievable, and people who I know that own one say that it is amazing.

They all have their pros and cons:
Xbox 360:
widest range of games
Best online play
Cons:
Older than the others
Just a more powerful Xbox
PS3:
Should have a good range of games later
Can store other stuff
Blu-ray DVD player
Cons:
If I wanted to store stuff, and play DVDs, I'd buy a lap-top for less money!
Wii:
Made by Nintendo
Not just a more powerful console
Can play regular games (ie not using the motion sensor)
Download any game made by Nintendo
Has Mario games (Galaxy, Olympics, Smash Bros, Part 8, Strikers Charged)
Made by Nintendo
Now I think about it, has a better range of games than the 360
Made by Nintendo
Has other Nintendo-only characters (Sonic, Poke-mon, etc.)

played on all of them, but the xbox is still my favourite(maybe because i played a lot on it)
the funniest one is the WII
the smartest is the PS3
the most entertaning is the X360
P.S:for xbox360 bioshock was kinda dissapointing...
P.P.S:i don't own any of the consoles

i chose ps3 cuz they have blue ray disc which holds 50 gig and a normal dvd holds 3 gig which is what xbox 360 use

You seem to be partial towards the Wii Stevie, I have always been a bit of a Nintendo fan myself. So it was a close call between the Xbox and the Wii for me.

I don't have any of them, but with the money I get for Christmas, I'll buy one of them. My mates all have Wiis and I have a Gamcube and a DS, so I'll go for the Wii. Plus, oneof my friend's older brother works in Game, so he gets a 25% discount on stuff. He's refusing to buy it for me though

I've played on all three, and I have a Wii of my own. The 360 is good, but I think that the PS3 is better from what I've played. But I love the Wii about how original it is. Suppose Nintendo have to do it really because if they tried to make a PS3 type console, it would flop.

No it wouldn't. Just look at the Gamecube. Far superior to the others.
My older boter tells me that the PS3 is useless if you're not playing it on a wide-screen, plasma, HD TV. Do you lot agree?

I liked the GameCube, but overall it was a major flop. They spent tons of money in the making of the console, and didn't sell as much as expected. That's why there was so few Wii's released when they first came out.

The Gamecube didn't sell as many because the PS2 and the XBOX were better heard of, not because they were better. All my mates (who have PS2s) think that the graphics on the 'Cube are beter.
What planet are you living on SVN? The PS3's have gone up, Nintendo sued Sony for breach of copyright and won. The Wii is still several hundred pounds cheaper.

To your reply stevie Earth and my mates av been saying at skwl that WII'S are about 300 now and are really hard to get hold of . I dunno if its true or not there probably on weed or something lol

Wii's are hard to get hold of, but if you bought one from a shop you'd be able to get one for £160. £300 quid, possibly on EBAY but no-where else.

As I posted, PS3's now cost more because intendo sued Sony for putting a motion sensor in it's controlers after Nintendo had copyrighted, trademarked and patented it across the world.

In the end, most people won't get a PS3 until it's a lot cheaper. This is an arguement that will never be resolved. Well, not for now anyway. There are people who love the Xbox more, some people prefer the PS3, and some people prefer the Wii. And sorry Steve for the late reply - but to be fair, the GameCube had good graphics, and had some good games.. but overall, it was a flop. Because surely the people who prefer Nintendo to Microsoft and Sony would have all bought it. (Maybe they did,  )

The 80 gig one is £300, correct, but a Wii package with Wii Sports, a nunchunk, and 4 other games costs £240, almost £60 less than a PS3 with no games!
A Wii with Wii sports and 2 other games costs £170.

true but i saw a few on ebay for lyk £400 for a Wii tht is shops are running out of stock thats why prices have skyrocketed not in shops lyk on ebay and amazon places like that

Prices skyrocket on ebay all the time around Christmas, surely it's a good thing for the Wii if shops appear to have ran out of stock? I know that my local game has 8 Wiis in stock, and I have three other games and 2 gamestations near me. Toys'r'us also has 2. It'sjust parents panicking that they won't be able to get one for Christmas.
