So, what does everybody think of the death penalty?

I think it's a bad idea and is as bad as murder. However, I do see why people are for it.

What about you lot?

Personally, I don't like the idea of the death penalty. I've heard all kinds of arguments both for and against it, but I really don't understand any of them. I'd have to look into the financial aspects to see which argument is more accurate (that it costs more to execute or it costs more to house and feed).

Still, that really doesn't matter to me. What matters is the killing. I just feel like I'm not any better than the murderer if I kill him (except in a situation where I have little choice).

On the other hand, I've thought about how I'd feel if someone I care about had been one of the victims. I know I'd be torn apart. I don't know if I'd stick to my principles. I hope I would, but I honestly don't know what I'd do in any situation until it actually occurs.

Ub is here, but as the rest of the users drained away, there became less to discuss. I think I'll give everyone an annoying bite to try and show them back. Now we have some discussion going, it shouldn't be too hard.

Haha. I do that occasionally, send out mass emails saying "Tower of Light needs your support" or something like that. Every time I do that, exactly one person comes and makes a post, the same one every time. Have to appreciate his efforts there, otherwise I might not have any posts.

It's okay oldman, it's understandable that people will drift away with time. The problem is that we've got no new userbase to replace them.
