The Yellow Card ShowBefore I said I was going to make an online show which I would record with a friend, but it never quite happened. This Friday is the debut of my new show, Football Friday. It has a few features on there, but it's mainly based around showing the fixtures of the Blue Square Premier, League Two, League One, Championship and the Premiership. Now, the first show isn't all that great - because as I said, it's pretty much based around the fixtures. But I'm hoping that it will keep getting better and better. I'll be making a website over this next week and uploading the video of the first episode on Friday evening. |

Good question. I'd say more relaxed like Soccer AM, but then again it is slightly like Soccer Saturday. Infact, there is actually a segment in the show which is called "Soccer Saturday", where we basically just take the mick.
Once again I warn you that the first show isn't all that great, it is okay but is mainly just fixtures. It'd be good if you could let me know what you think on Friday so that we can try and improve it for future shows. If we are good enough and possibly successful enough on the internet, we might do it again next season, but that is a long way off from now. |

Okay, I'll watch the first few and see how good it is.
When you say "mainly just the fixtures", do you mean litterally just the fixtures or a bit of talking around them (Everton are playing West Ham, Everton look like finishing fourth thanks to the form of Yakubu but West Ham are in poor form and look like coming to nothing) or somewhere in between (Wycombe, who play in blue...) |

Somewhere in between. But I can't stress enough about the fact that you shouldn't be put off by the first show if it isn't all that decent. We're working on it.

I'd rather it was in one long video than 3 to be honest, but as long as you don't magically change positions it's okay...

Each video can only be a certain size/length, which is why it is in three parts. Ian did get a little clearer in today's recordings for next week's show. Yes, believe it or not - the next show has been taped, and I personally think it tops the first. It has more features and is generally a lot more enjoyable to watch. But that might just be me. Who knows? What did you guys think? |

I have just thought of an idea. UB I will need your permission to do this of course, but this is an idea that can involve anybody here at the forum.
I was thinking that maybe you guys would like to help make some new features to the show, and in return I'd advertise this forum every week in the Football Media part of the show for everyone to watch. |

As for the debate derby: the Milan derby. Or River Plate/Boca Juniors. One of those 2 for me, anyway. |

Cheers. Glad you like it! Didn't think it would be very good when we told everyone about it. I reckon the next episode is better, it has a few more features on it and we're just trying new ways on making the show better. You never know, if all goes well we could do it again next season.
We might even be able to start some competitions and things. |

Okay I've had an idea come to mind for sometime in the future (so not just yet). If we get a bit of a fanbase coming along, then we might start up a Biggest Fan Contest, where you send in videos, photos, graphics, subscribe to our YouTube videos, join our forum or something along those lines. So say for example, for every video you sent in.. you got 5 points. And for every photo you sent in, you got 3 points. And maybe if you subscribed to our videos, you'd recieve say 10 points. Then at a closing date, a table would be created:
Player 1 (100 Points) Player 2 (80 Points) and so on. |

On Friday night as I was uploading the third episode, Ian contacted me to tell me that he can no longer do the show. So since then I've been thinking of possibly doing it myself for a premiere next Friday.
