still wanted shearer tho but capello has signed a 4 year contract for 6.5 million a year thought id let you all no u probably no anyway but oh well

SVN - do you actually know what you're on about?

Alan Shearer shouldn't be (and thankfully is not) England Manager, because he has little experience. Steve McLaren was English, and what did he do.. well, what he didn't do was qualify us for the Euro's next year.

And Sven isn't a joke, he got us to the Quarter Finals of the World Cup 2002, Euro 2004 and the World Cup 2006. And he helped us give the German's a beating a few years back. 5-1, remember? To be fair - we can do better than Sven, but he did a pretty decent job.

Look at Man City this season..

Capello should do great as england manager, he has had great success everywhere he's managed, he's won a trophy with every team he's managed.

But he is going with entire Italian staff, but maybe thats what England need, a big change.

yeah our possesion is poor its like i used to play when i was 8 yr's old hit it as far as i can . thts all there doing is booting it up field for crouch . and its all italian at the moment but pierce might be getting in on it and capello sed he will have no objection with pierce joining . and argentina are even better at possesion ,remember there goal in the world cup 30 - 40 passes or something like that cant remember

Cappello will be a good manager. None of us voted for him though.

I just hope he doesn't turn us into a defensive team.

Yh cause weve got the players to score goals its just tht we dont and italy are great at defence but thats not were were struggling at its goal scoring ability thats the problem
