Anyone want to input here? The way the business works is that you pay for wages, maintanence etc. and the way you make money is through the fans and sponsers. Without fans, you wouldn't sell tickets, merchandise, food & drink - and so on.
It's an obvious fact that every true football fan should know. _________________ Rolls: (3d6)

The only clubs in England who would be fine without any fans are Chelsea, Man City, and Villa. If Roman gave Chelsea all his money in his will they'd so self sustained. It's similar with City, but a lot of Shinawatra's cash is dodgy. I'm pretty sure Lerner is rich enough too. Oh, and QPR of course.
What you say about Glazer is rubbish though- he has NO money, he got a loan of over £500 million to buy Man U and United won't have a penny until he gets his 500 million out of them. He didn't use all of it to buy Man U however- he saved some for transfers and to pay back the first few months of repayments. Basically, if Man U go down, they're screwed.
I know more about Championship and League 1 football than you SVN, so don't say that they have "ways" of making money Freddie doesn't know about. Sponsorship, prize money and TV rights are the only ways I can think of that don't need fans. No company will sponsor a team with no fans. You need cash to get prize money, or else be very lucky, and TV rights only really apply in the premiership. _________________ The 4 aces is back!
